Imagined visual identity for a budget-friendly backpackers’ hostel in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia, created whilst volunteering, and taking inspiration from the area’s native flora and fauna.
Volunteer stint-turned-brand exploration
With low-budget travellers in mind, and a desire to play with combining illustration and branding in my creative exploration, I aimed to inject the energy & personality of this hostel into its online presence and printed collateral, taking inspiration from the area’s jungle critters & iconic rolling tea plantations. This was a project that started life as a stint spent ‘Workaway’-ing and grew into a really fun opportunity to explore.
